Dublin Indoor Softball Tournament

D.I.S.T. is a one day tournament with 8-12 teams held in late October or early November in A.L.S.A.A.

This is the tournament that brought indoor softball back to Ireland. Prior to this there were a few players from Leinster flying out to Scotland twice a year to get their indoor fix. Then late in 2008 Julie Walsh decided enough is enough and ran the first D.I.S.T. in Trinity College Dublin sports hall. The Tournament was won by Limerick but more importantly Indoor had been started in Dublin and so began the aches and pains.

This hasn't just been for Dublin, with teams from Limerick, Belfast and Galway making the drive to Dublin.
